This booklet is one of the outcomes of our short and very unusual artist residency at an engineering firm called KREBS in the outskirts of Paris. One of the main services provided by this firm was to design nuclear power plants in Japan.
Based on a true story the booklet is a detective / sci-fi take on some events that happened at a power plant in the past. It is centered around an imaginary man who in fact was on the KREBS payroll for more than a decade. Covered in mystery, the book encourages the KREBS employers (technicians, engineers, administrators) to solve the riddles by investigating and asking their co-workers for more clues.

14610 is a mix of a retrospective, a reflection and a sort of “self critique” on the collaborative work by writer and poet Lucy Marsh and visual artist Aydin Sinclair.

14610 is the duration in days. The back cover are days past, the spine marks 14610 days (40 years precisely), and the front cover are the days that follow.

Communicating Chronic Pain

CCP is an inderdisciplinary project that explores non-verbal expressions of chronic pain and how they can be incorporated creatively within medical practices and how they can be interpreted in our digital age.

In the applicatopm we designed for CCP, each ‘nerve branch’ depicts how content (i.e. image, animation, video, etc) is re-blogged throughout a community of people with chronic pain on Tumblr. When clicking on different ramifications of a branch a pop-up window will show a different context (a blog) in which the same piece of content has been re-blogged.

In collaboration with the Department of Methodology of the London School of Economics.
